I found a bunch of recordings from my freshman year at Oberlin before me and a few friends transferred to NEC. Sullivan Fortner was a few years senior of us and sitting in the room. For others it gives a interesting look at some of the jazz going on I think it was actually 2007 at Oberlin. I think there were weekly reviews of groups to get open feedback by teachers and fellow students. Now that I have graduated NEC I would love to start more coaching and lessons to help those seriously interested in pursuing Conservatory degrees get into conservatory on scholarship and hopefully connect them with really good musicians to help them develop their ear training/musicianship.
